fort, underground.
Had a very short visit to Beacon Hill again - this time to venture into the underground areas. Armed with a ton of torches, the trip was successful...
A quick recap of the outside - there are a few batteries and observation towers...
I was slightly disappointed with the underground area of Beacon Hill Fort. I think I was expecting an intricate network of tunnels all linking up with each other. Sadly it was just a few short-ish tunnels and rooms. (Cue the bit where I find out that I missed more?)
A few sneaky arty shots too.
Note the failed attempt at doing my name! I need to be able top open my shutter for longer!!

i went with my young kids today. i went there as a teenager and wanted the kids to see it b4 it was pulled down or sold off! i was also sadly dissapointed when i saw the delapodation of the entire site! i have a passion for photography and with the vandalism there was no decent shot to take! i'm going back on wednesday, and i will get a decent shot!!!! this time without the kids! loved ur site. urs truely, fern x
