Mansfield General Hospital closed during the 1990s. It was bought by a local businessman who intends to do something with the site, but hasn’t yet. The hospital is also situated bang in the middle of a housing estate – the local residents are not pleased with the eyesore. And don’t like strangers poking around in their area…
The whole explore was quite “tense”. Two of our group got busted by security and told us they were inside looking for us. So we had a very quick look round and made a swift exit! Thus, not many photos of the rather peely interior…

Go get some more well done first insight into what it really is like ,how safe the building is is a serious issue would love to see the actual condition of the floors ceilings roof etc.
intresting to see i had been told that there are still beds on some of the wards, did you feel like it was haunted if yeah id love to go a tour around one night, would the owner be up for richard felix etc to attend that might swing it.

I had my appendix out 36 years ago at that hospital and it’s sad to see how it looks now.
had alook round recently very hard to get in to very creepy all the body trays still in the morg spooky noises to
very good picks mate all still the same there sapoes to be nocking it down have started doing service trenches it will be like that 4 ages
very good pics, although myself and a few friends of mine camped within the hospital about 8years ago. we found the morgue, sports hall and little stage theatre. it seems alot different now as when we were there we found the old beds, records, medical instruments, old xray equipment ect…. it seemed a whole lot more thrilling back then.

I assume that the government selected the purchaser of this site. Bad choice.
just got back from here the decay is awesome a report will be up on derelict places shortly only a quick visit on way back from our main site wish we had gone here first!

i saw these pics a few weeks bak and desided to av a look round and security got me too but unfortunatly their is no mention on here of the german shepard that patrols or the other security they’ve got going
i recieved a caution for trespassing and because i had a utility tool which had pliers i also got charged with going equipped!!!
Me and a group of friends are intent on getting in, can you answer some questions? how heavys the security? Entrance ect? and when we went in it was very cold…? explanation?
