ROC posts – Beaconsfield, Mundford, Sandy & Kentford

A few more ROC posts visited in August. Most were locked, but are included for completeness.

Beaconsfield

This one flashed up on my sat-nav as I was driving up the M40. I decided to take a risk and visit it. Yey, it was open! Makes a change from not actually existing! This one was good and dry, but not many ROC artefacts left – just a ton of food & drink!

Mundford – Norwich 47

Locked!

Kentford

This one was welded up.

Sandy

The latches on this one were covered in concrete – so would not budge

If one was able to open these would it be illegal to do so?

The Sandy ROC has unfortunately gone. When I went, a strip of land from the main road to where the industrial units start had been plowed. I’m assuming the top of the structure has been removed and inside filled.

AND THE MAIN BUNKER HAS 2 WALL MOUNTED BEDS
